LinkedIn Resume
Profile export · Generic · Premium for AI
Bottom line up front
LinkedIn's resume builder essentially converts your LinkedIn profile into a PDF. It's a quick starting point, but it produces a one-size-fits-all document with no per-job tailoring, limited formatting control, and AI features locked behind a Premium subscription ($39.99/mo). Flower Resume is purpose-built to solve the specific problem LinkedIn doesn't: generating a different, tailored version of your resume for each job you apply to — for free.

The Problem With "One Resume for Every Job"
LinkedIn's resume tool exports your profile. That's useful for a baseline document, but it's the same for every job you apply to. Research consistently shows tailored applications get 2–3x the response rate of generic ones — because recruiters and ATS systems are looking for specific keywords, skills, and experience that match each job description.
With Flower Resume, you paste the job description and the AI rewrites your experience section to surface the most relevant parts of your background for that specific role. Your base profile stays the same — the tailored version is generated fresh each time.
LinkedIn Premium: Is It Worth $39.99/Month?
LinkedIn Premium includes AI resume features, but at $39.99/month ($480/year) it's primarily a networking and job-seeking platform — not a resume tool. You're paying for InMail credits, profile views, and job insights, with resume AI as a secondary feature.
Flower Resume gives you the specific AI resume tailoring capability for free — no upsell, no subscription, no credit card required.
